The Taverna Project is not defined by walls or a single table, but by a feeling that travels throughout Ekies. Served during the day at Bubo, before it transforms for the evening, and extending naturally into our beach lounge, it unfolds wherever the moment feels right. More than a restaurant, it is a living culinary project, one that accompanies our guests through slow lunches, sun-washed afternoons, and shared plates by the sea. Inspired by the timeless Greek taverna, this menu celebrates familiar, comforting flavours with dishes you recognize and crave. Elevated but never formal, refined yet deeply approachable. Every plate balances tradition with quiet creativity, offering food that feels honest, generous, and easy to love
Gastronomy
At Ekies, gastronomy is an expression of place, season, and care. Each dish is guided by respect for the land that provides, the people who cultivate, and the moments that bring us together. From morning light to evening ritual, our kitchens invite you to taste slowly, consciously, and with curiosity. What follows is a collection of distinct dining experiences, each with its own character, yet all connected by the same philosophy: food as a feeling, a memory, and a way of life.
